Merlin.Nasi.Kandar.

** This is only an additional story.. disebabkan mlm thn baru tu tak dapat nk tengok gerhana separa bulan atas sebab... dah tido!! So kebetulan semalam tengok di belakang rumah bulan cantek ja..!!

So story for today pulak, awal pagi lagi me, Zura together with my sister Zarin and Abg Rahim went to pekena nasi kandar. Teringat akan nasi kandar dengan pasangannya Kopi Ais, so kami terus menuju ke Merlin.Nasi.Kandar!! It was at area Bishop Street, sama lorong dengan Maybank Penang Main.

When we arrived there, a lot of people dah beratur panjang. That time was only around 1130am.. Tapi disebabkan terasa kesedapan kuah daging Merlin, ianya memang berbaloi!!


Nie pulak muka after dah kenyang, we all take a walk.. jalan jalan window shopping at Gurney Plaza. Not saying window shopping la.. Zura tu tak tahan jugak nak beli yang itu la, nampak yang ni nak la.. But I managed to control her 'flowing' pocket dari terus mengalir...

Its been a while since my last entry within a week ago.. da reality is, im quite bz wit my house works!! Basoh bj, sterika bj.. pinggan mangkok smua harus dicuci!! Not tat i never done it before.. (jgn salah paham!!) just tat tis time i hav to 'take over' my mum jobs. Xtra job ja.. during tis time, my mum was at my bro house. She has been there since las week together wit abah. But then, 2days ago abah has come back to Penang alone.. coz kna keja kan!! Cian abah, sorg2.. xpa anak menantu ada ok!!

Flash back to da week.. and a week before, there's a lot of ting happens.. At ofis, on past 2nd week of Syawal we had organize 'Jamuan Hari Raya' for all da staffs. We ordered all da dishes from our favourite 'pakcik Yusoff'.. some sort like satay, laksa, nasi impit, rendang n etc la.. of course laa tat all da dishes was soo delicious, but of course also its full of cholesterol+calorie+fat+sugar!! But wat to do kan .. its jamuan Raya waaat!! Makan.., makan.., n makan la!!

Then las week plak.. I've been invited to attending a charity dinner. It was held at Equatorial Hotel, here. Tis charity dinner actually was organise by one of da big organization called "D Home" . D'Home was envisioned by one man who dared to dream of making a better tomorrow by building a better world. His mission:-

To give hope and meaning in life to those who are desperately in need of hope.

Beside all da charity, tis function also hoping to raise in excess of RM250K net on tis event on da way to their target of RM2.5M to provide a resource centre for the mentally ill and their carers and are seeking sponsors, advetisers n those who wish to help! But tat nite, da main attraction will be da famous comedian Gurmit Singh AKA Phua Chu Kang.

Waktu Berbuka..

Dh nama pun bulan Ramadhan, bulan brposa.. so we all (me& opis colleagues) plan on goin' for brbuka together2. Plus its also like gathering back wit one of my staf (Daniel Zulkiflee) tat hav been transfered to other branch. And its also a day for someone's celebrating his 27th BIRTHDAY!!

We choose IRC (Island Red Cafe) @Gurney because its near to our opis.. Its also more convenience for Ery & Zul to come over after their workin' time. We all enjoy da foods, trmengah2 la jadinya... Hapi chat bout working, ada yg nk mintak 'transfer' balik branch la, some others buzzy wit da WiFi!!

For Anuar, HAPPY BIRTHDAY 'MR DJ'.. For others, hopefully we all can gather again n tis time we went for "Seoul Garden" plak bleh? Hmmm mayb after Raya..?!!

I was quite buzy wit all tis las minute program tat hav to be done within 2weeks. Im da one of da committee for my branch annual dinner on tis year. Its look so simple, but to make it happen n wanted to satisfy all da staffs... hmm mmg difficult sket kan!!

Im happy bcoz when come to da day, everybdy gives all their support to make da dinner happening!! We all enjoy da foods, played da games..; we had arrange a few games.. singing+dancing pun layan!! Also not forget, da 'havoc' person on tat nite was present to my boss... Fuhh boss, u mmg sporting habis la!!

And for all da staffs, TQVM.. I also really hav a good time..

Saturday Morning..

After we have plan it for 2months, so on last Saturday we all make our moves to Tg.Dawai. Actually we wanted to go since last year, before we celebrating our fasting month! Then because of something happens (sudah tak ingat apa dia..), so we make an arrangement to go on this day.

Best jugak actually kat sini.. we move early, after having breakfast around 9.00am.. just take us around 1 and half hours to arrived there. We went convoy together in 3 cars including my mum, Zura's mother.. my sister-Zarina, sister in law-Kak Ija, my brother-Abg Zul and brother in law-Abg Rahim together with us also my 2 nephews-Irah and Ain!

The women's do their 'shopping' on ikan kering, ikan gelama masin, terubuk masam, pekasam.. sotong kering.. banyak lagi lah! But one thing.. semua memang fresh-fresh belaka!! Another one is 'keropok lekor'.. fuhhh siap tauke kedai bagitau yang dia bangun pukul 4.00pagi tu buat sendiri tau!! Still fresh, panas lagi time kami beli.. :-)

Dah memborong sakan, we all have our lunch dekat kedai bawah. Apa yang you all nak time lunch tu..? Ikan bakar? Sotong bakar? Udang bakaq...? Memang marvellous habis... (meleleh lagi air liur ni ha!!) Sedap betul lunch dekat situ.. ambik yang bukan-bukan sampai memang kenyang sangat. Know what, for lunch sahaja that afternoon.. 10people's+ikan siakap bakar+sotong+udang bakaq+ketam goreng tepung+gulai ikan+sayur campur+petola+udang samabl+ABC+laicikang++++ .... FYI it just cost me RM91++!! Puas..?

Never expect tat yesterday nite Penang wil havin' a heavy rain! Previously, Ery plan on goin to have a western food for his dinner.. (though, abishh laa my diet**). Even when back from worked, dia dh pun makan nasi kat umah.. but he still insist to go and try at tis new place; Kafe 1926.

We when there after Maghrib together wit us is my sis Zarin+abgRahim. OTW, we already trapped in tis heavy rain. So sudden actually.. da rain was fallin down w/out gave any warning!! :P Fuuhh... Basah kuyup la jugak. We did try da western foods, of course abgRahim wil order his fav "ChickenChop+MushroomSauce".. Sis Zarin wit her "Fish&Chips"! Ery, he did try a new menu.. "ChickenBBQ" and so do i.. i try someting called "Dory Fish wit ButterSauce". Bout da taste... it was sooo pleasant!!

Bcoz its still rainin, so tat y we hav a plenty time to enjoy our foods. I suggest, Y not frens, if u dont really know where to hav a nice foods at a new place.. go & try over here! Not only a western foods, there's also NasiAyam la.., CharKoayTeow.. Penang Cuisine(MeeJawa;CucurUdang etc..). Da price..? Really generous!!

We move back home when da clock showin' near to 11 o'clock! At tis time, Penang still havin' a heavy rain (sbb dh call up my mum kat umah, tnya ujan ke..?). Using da Greenlane road, we was so suprise bcoz there was a traffic jammed!! Wat happen..? Takkan time nie pun baru smua org blk keja..?

Banjir.. banjir wooo! Aiq naik..!! Serious.. in just within 2hours, but really in heavy fallin rain ja air dh pun naik!! Gooshh.. :P Pa dh jd ngan jln2 kat Penang nie, dh sempat+rendah ka..? Heran..
